General Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstract submission begins from 12-5-24.

The Chairperson of the Scientific Committee can be contacted if intimation for abstract submission is not received due to an incorrect email address, or if there are issues accessing/uploading online. You can also opt for email submission directly to the Chairperson with the abstract forms.
Submission Guidelines
- The presenting work must be original and conducted in MP only. Work done outside the state will not be considered for any awards.
- Has this submission won any National / International Award?
- Was this submission published or submitted for publication in any peer-reviewed journal?
- Single case reports will usually not be accepted for oral presentations. However, interesting cases may be considered for physical or e-posters.
- Online submission begins on 12-5-24 at MPSOS-SC.ORG.
- Handwritten abstracts will not be accepted.
- Once submitted, changes to the title, topics, or duration of the paper are NOT possible.
- Type author and co-authors' names exactly as they are in MPSOS records.
- Changes in presenters/authors are not allowed. For unavoidable changes, written permission must be obtained from the Chairman of the Scientific Committee at least 3 weeks before the conference.
- Check your complete mailing address, email ID, and mobile number while submitting.
- Each presenting author can submit up to two of the following: Free Papers, Posters, or Videos.
- No combined authorship papers shall be included for competitive awards.
- Faculty presentations: A maximum of four presentations is allowed—two from free papers/videos/posters and two from faculty scientific talks.
- No more than 3 co-authors are allowed for a Paper/Poster/Video in the non-award category.
- Free Paper duration is 6 minutes only.
- All awards for Free Papers/Posters/Videos will be given to the presenting author only.
- If the presenting author is not a ratified member, the Paper/Poster/Video will not be evaluated for any MPSOS award.
- No change in presenting authors is allowed during Free Paper and Video sessions.
- Institution/Hospital affiliation and Doctor’s name in the title or abstract should not be mentioned; doing so will lead to automatic rejection.
- The Scientific Committee will review abstracts. Information regarding acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the abstract submitter.
- Registration to the conference will be mandatory for the presenting author.
- The presenting author will need to send a short CV with a color passport photograph upon acceptance of the abstract. The CV should include the year of passing, college, university, important awards (maximum 3), current position held, and any important past positions held.
- Abstracts should be in the proper format and adhere to the rules of the award or specified subject.
- All abstracts should reach the Scientific Committee before the deadline for evaluation. No papers will be accepted after the deadline.
Important Dates
- Abstract submission begins: 12th May 2024
- Abstract submission closes: 10th July 2024 (no extension)
- Selection announcement for Free Papers/Posters/Videos: 10th August 2024
- Submission of the full text of selected Free Papers/Posters/Videos: 31st August 2024
Full Text Submission
If accepted as a Paper/Poster/Video for presentation at the MPSOS conference, the full text, along with a short CV and a color passport-sized photograph, must be emailed to the Chairperson of the Scientific Committee at chairmanscientificcommitteemp@gmail.com before 31st August 2024.
Best of Papers
All the selected best papers from each session will be included in the "Best of Best Paper" session. The selected paper from this session will be submitted to AIOS for presentation at the next AIOS Conference.
Presentation Options
Physical Poster
A Poster is a traditional board. It may include text, figures, tables, and images. Posters should contain the following information: Introduction, Material and Methods, Discussions, Results, and Conclusions.
Poster Size: 4’x3’ (Portrait/Vertical), displayed in a specific area at the conference venue. Selected posters can be viewed any time during the conference.
E-Posters
- Maximum of 10 Microsoft PowerPoint slides, including the title slide.
- Content: Introduction, Material and Methods, Discussion, Conclusion.
- Use Times New Roman or Arial fonts. Font size should be no smaller than 18 points.
- Maximum of 100 words per slide.
- Use a plain background without patterns or dark colors. Ensure clear headings and spacing.
- Pictures and graphics should be clear and well-labelled. No video clips/animation files allowed.
- File size should be no more than 5 MB.
- Last Date and Link will be shared later.
Video Submissions
- The video should not exceed 6 minutes in duration, including title and credits.
- Videos will be judged based on educational value, originality, and expert use of the medium.
